Absolutely! Unfortunately, a lot of folks that I spoke to yesterday in Burlington were either retired or very young, or were not in a position to be able to strike. I'm sure that's also the case for many others around the nation - but the more we grow, the more we'll get!

Both things are true: the protests are impactful AND the 3.5% guiding principle emphasizes more sustained action.

These awareness raising events are good for morale AND we need the once a month numbers to show out more often than that.

We need protests AND we need a general strike.

Yep that’s the story today. And the next story is how we funnel these millions of new people into sustained local organizing in service of democracy.
