i felt like i was wide awake but i must’ve been half asleep. there was a cricket in the kitchen that night and the stomping matched rhythmically with a crickets chirping. this is how i’ve rationalized it, anyway

a repeated knocking that seemed to come from inside the walls. later i found out this was actually my blood pounding in my ears because i was unhealthy/highly stressed and i would lay in bad positions

a phantom stomping down my fucking stairs twice without coming back up 🧵

strange things i would hear from my bedroom back home:

slow footsteps on top of the garage, just outside my window

a very clear, fairly loud, but unfamiliar snoring. always while every other bedroom door was closed

some kinda fucked up dying bird?? that only happened once 🧵

holy crap i forgot about the fire, i’m glad you guys are alright!!
