Hey sorry for disappearing again, someone died and Iβm still working through it. Not sure when Iβll be back to posting regularly
04.06.2025 19:27 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Hey, so I had to deal with my ISP shutting down my service without notice today. So I'll be doing a day 9 and 10 post tomorrow with both the 27th and 28th's creations once I get that issue completely settled.
28.05.2025 06:29 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Iβll have a drawing out later today for day 9

Daily Creations - 5-8
So I mentioned a move recently and that move involved me going from an altitude of 500ft to ~5280ft. This affects my baking process and thatβs what Iβve been working on the last few days. Had to adjust rise times, temperature, and bake times but I have a feel for it now.
Daily Creations - Day 4
Decided to mess with a bit of 2d animation. Took a lot longer to get something I was even slightly happy with than I expected, but in my opinion the box does appear to rotate.
A digital canvas with eight drawings on it. There's a ribbony arrow, two boxes, a sausage thing, a gesture, and three heads.
Daily Creations - Day 3
I'm struggling to figure out what I want to draw. So my sketching is feeling a bit aimless right now.
A digital canvas with seven sketches on it, including a sausage thing, two gestures, two faces, a box, and a partially closed eye
Daily Creations - Day 2 - Already Slipped Up
Oops, forgot to actually post this yesterday, gonna need to set a reminder until I get back in the habit again.
I am feeling much better!
And despite having less room Iβm definitely more comfortable in the new place than I was in Texas too which is nice

Daily Creations - Day 1 - A Fresh Start in a New Home
Considering my long haitus due to falling sick and then moving to a new state it felt wrong continuing the old count, so I'm starting anew with the day counter. Still getting settled so only some quick sketches today.

Got my computer set up at least so I should start posting again on Monday
18.05.2025 01:32 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Hey so Iβm alive, Iβm just juggling half a dozen things at once and havenβt had time to keep up posting. Iβve been continuing to sketch, but life isnβt going to be back to normal enough for me to keep this up till at least May 17th when Iβll have finished a couple of the things.
Iβll be back soon!
Iβm nearly back to normal, thanks for the patience. Should have a couple posts today or tomorrow showing some of the stuff Iβve been working on while sick.

13.04.2025 17:10 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This whole being sick thing is getting really old, can't wait until I'm back to feeling normal and am able to get back to the actual proper daily posts

Daily Art Challenge - Days 100 and 101
Still stick, but recovering. In my infinite wisdom I decided to sew a long-sleeve, button down, collared blouse to try to deal with the boredom. So I've been working at that between sleeping and having coughing fits, still got a good bit left.

I have done some doodling and general practice, but nothing I feel like sharing. I might try to draw something later this evening for a more proper day 99 post, but we'll see. In the meanwhile here's a photo I took a while back.

Daily Art Challenge - Day 98 & 99
I've been coming down with something the last few days. And this last day and a half have really been wrecking me. Everything's sore, and my throat and head hurt a lot in particular. As a result I've been mostly sleeping and reading.

Ellipses are hard.
I should get the contour lines exercise posted for tomorrow, and maybe a couple progress photos on the blouse. Went ahead and attached a sketch with a rough representation of the main pattern pieces of the blouse and some examples of the exercise.

Daily Art Challenge - Days 94 & 95
Sorry for the radio silence, both had some family stuff and have been focused on trying to sew a button up blouse. It's definitely the trickiest thing I've tried to sew. I've also been working on better understanding the first set of lesson 2 exercises.

Daily Art Challenge - Day 93
Did some more work with heads, I think I'm starting to get some of it but noses, mouths, and ears seem to be what I struggle with the most. Regardless I do believe the heads are turning out better than the first few attempts.

Daily Art Challenge - Day 92
Worked on getting a better hold on the arrows and I'm now feeling a lot more comfortable with them. The biggest ah moments had to do with curve crossing points, and now I feel I understand how to match the spacing in a way that looks right.
#dailyart
The feeling that I got when doing these is that I'm close to getting it but I'm not quite there, but I'm hoping when I get it then it'll really click like boxes have in most circumstances.

Daily Art Challenge - Days 90 & 91
Started on lesson 2 of draw a box. Copying a previous curve with or without changing distance between the curves for the sake of perspective is really hard, especially when your hand hides the parent curve. I'm going to practice this a lot.

Daily Art Challenge - Day 89
The final prompt was to make a spin on a mythical creature/race. Today was a big meal prep day (once again leaving little time to draw.) I only had ~20 minutes to draw a kappalotl.
This has really helped give me things to work on

Daily Art Challenge - Day 88
The prompt for the day was: create a vehicle out of household objects, I came up with the idea of a flying machine using a laundry basket and a fan early in the day and then was out of the house all day leaving little time to draw π
