I am offended by Isobel Oakshit every time she opens her mouth, and sometimes just by looking at her.

Guardian view on Sir Jim Ratcliffe: Britain does not need political lectures from a billionaire tax exile | Editorial Editorial: Comments on the ‘colonisation of the UK’ by the co-owner of Manchester United were erroneous, crass and a gif

In 2020, Jim Ratcliffe moved his fortune to Monaco, saving himself an estimated £4 billion in tax.

In the same year, immigrants in the UK contributed around £20 billion in tax.

That says it all.

UK Palestine Action ban ruled unlawful, in humiliating blow for ministers Thousands arrested for supporting group since proscription are now in legal limbo as Mahmood says she will appeal

It's depressing that ministers ever thought this was proportionate, and disgusting that they haven't immediately accepted the judgement.

I expected such levels of knee-jerk stupidity from Braverman. But we voted Labour because we wanted better.

Be better.

She and Tice are a match made in hell. They may be rich but if money makes you that vile and unhappy I am glad I’m not.

Farage doesn’t work anywhere let alone at home. Tice lives in Dubai half the time so he’s either part time or works from home. Reform advertise home working jobs. They are all a bunch of lazy, racist hypocrites.

Farrage opens his mouth, lies pop out.

@nickferrarilbc.bsky.social is like so many racist Reform lovers. Angry, unable to consider, or even listen to another point of view. I listen occasionally for about half an hour but it’s a very difficult experience. Most of his callers are equally vile and he shouts over those who aren’t. Awful!

It’s true he’s been a racist for decades.

Would rather watch from a distance

My sentiments exactly except the frog faced shit made even that more difficult 😡

Maybe because he’s already owned and can’t be resold.

No one but no one makes Farrage stick to the rules and he is so morally bankrupt he won’t do anything just because it’s the decent thing to do.

Madeley and Ferrari… what a start to the day 🤦‍♀️

What on earth would he know about work of any description!

Vile excuse for a human being. If I were to sink to his level I would say he’s no oil painting himself.

it will really be something if the Epstein Files unseat a British Prime Minster who isn't in them, and not the American President who was Epstein's best friend.

Whilst I would not disagree, it would have been great had Starmer avoided some of it and not appointing a man known to be reprehensible. The degree to which he was reprehensible is almost neither here nor there.

I understand why you would but isn’t it helpful to know what others think even if you disagree with them? I really wanted Starmer and I see how he relates to other leaders and feel pleased he is our PM. I also feel he’s let himself and us down. It’s drowning out all the good. Who instead? No clue.

It’s awful as I don’t think I could vote for him again. Never liked him but voted for Labour rather than him. He may well, deservedly, lose his seat here next time.

Something magnificent about Kemi Badenoch's self-confidence, and her claim that the Mandelson affair is entirely down to her asking questions at PMQs. Like a toddler who thinks their plastic steering wheel is controlling the car.

I also want my local MP out @labourlewis.bsky.social . He never seems to miss an opportunity to jump on the bandwagon. Labour could really do without the likes oh him. As for Kuenssberg I really don’t know why she just doesn’t join Reform and be done with it.

09.02.2026 08:58 — 👍 7    🔁 2    💬 1    📌 0

Ps. Even those on the left of the party don’t rate him. He needs to be careful or he may well lose his seat next time.

Clive Lewis is only interested in himself. Sadly he is my MP.

It’s all really sad and frustrating but I don’t know anyone, of any political persuasion, that supports Starmer or will vote Labour again at this point in time. That scares me.Too many may turn to Reform, not because they like them but because everyone else has disappointed them in some way.
