Not happy "liking" this, but I get it. People reeeaallly don't like/don't know how to react to chronic illness and freak out about serious depression.

My lil round tabby girl would use 1 -- precisely 1 -- claw to pierce my butt when she decided work should be over. No warning meows. Just, a claw in a cheek. If ignored, another single claw reminder, until she got what she wanted.

Neighbor came to our door. I didn't know she had her sweet lil dog with her, so I opened the door without restraining my dogs. My angelic mostly black dog attacked. My happy blonde dog took off to explore the 'hood. Cue the indignity if trotting after her braless. All are okay. But, whew.

Oh, this is a scary place. For us more than you, I think. Afraid that we'll lose this lovely light in this dark world. So grateful for your skill with words and ability to see through the veil, tho they give us warning of possible grief coming too soon. We selfishly hope you'll stay, longer.

<spoiler, The Substance> Hrmmm...definitely (TW) body horror. Gripping and interesting concept. Not loving the execution of the ending, tho it goes where it pretty much has to go. Do not watch if struggling with body dysmorphia. It's a scary depiction of how hating yourself can tear you apart.

Some colors work better on cars than elsewhere 😅. I'm sure the turd brown was once a more palatable 😉 shade of chocolate; just not by the time we got that wagon. BUT, I'd still be driving that ugly hunk if not for an unfortunate, undiagnosable engine issue 😢

It's happening!!! IT'S FINALLY HAPPENING!!! I am delivered, at long last, from the relentless heat of this summer. 81 F on Friday is actually a huge cool down, and it just gets better from there! 🥲

This was one of the reasons I loved my old Ford LTD station wagon SO MUCH. Absolutely nothing to interest a thief, except probably the ease with which it could be broken into. Man I miss that pigeon poop-stained, seriously oxidized, turd brown, barely insurable, comfy ride!

Meanwhile, no expense spared on food for a finicky cat, older dogs.

Got a lil guffaw from me; who found glass in her potatoes at an IHOP (years ago), and just kept eating--keeping an eye out for more glass--until a waitress happened by and it occurred to me I should have her alert the kitchen. I'd have finished that plate, but she insisted on a fresh one 🤷

She's so beautiful, and she knows it. Love love love the 2-tooth underbite 😍
