I'm having a hard time. My back is killing me. A family friend passed away. And the world is a dumpster fire. How can anyone breathe? I can only self soothe so much. And I hate going to the doctor's, but I think it's time. I need something to deal with this pain. At least im writing again #amwriting

I would normally do this on Fridays, but I rearranged my work schedule this week and am forced to be present and engage with others today. Boo.

I took a long break. After working out the entire plot of my book, I was scared to write it. That fear stopped me for several months. But today, I took a breath and did it. I wrote something. 1000 words. I feel a weight lifted from my shoulders, and my bravery has returned. I can do this. #writing

I'm going to try to make this day a good day.

Working on seeing life as beautiful. It's tough. Life has been so eventful as of late, I just want it to slow down a bit so I can breathe. Give me an uneventful weekend.

Grateful that I work from home, especially days like today when my emotions overwhelm me and I can't stop crying.

I was able to write this morning, a thousand words down.

To tell the truth, I've started over. I took time to plot instead of just writing, and it's both helped and slowed me a bit. I still have my 65000 word draft, but it's taken a new direction. And I feel good about it.

I'm better spirits today. Ready to get some work done, and maybe some writing in tonight. For now: coffee.

I am feeling really down today. Writing has taken a back seat because my brain is in a funk. I am sad. I am angry. And I feel helpless.
