I've probably re-watched this more than any other TV series. The me-too revelations about producer Joss Whedon (beginning of his downfall) cast some shade on it, but it would be dishonest to pretend I didn't like it or that I no longer think it's great. It remains a terrific series.

It's all the media coverage of negative incidents. Lately it seems to have moved beyond actual incidents to media coverage of people just saying that they feel unsafe.

I'm in Canada and in my province there's only one poisonous snake, and it's nowhere near where I live.

I saw a big snake at a temple in Tokyo. Friends at home asked if it might be venomous and I said no - judging by the security guard who was showing it to school children. 🙂
