16.02.2026 22:37 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I like "pnumber" *without* a silent "p" even more

12.02.2026 05:00 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Maybe the snow clearing topic is overdone, but itβs been weeks since the storm and I canβt help but be aghast at Torontoβs abysmal service standard. This is unacceptable. Plain and simple.

10.02.2026 00:10 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Why did the announcement say the train was going out of service at Kennedy? Did it actually go out of service or did it just reverse directions and go back westbound?

05.02.2026 15:33 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I loved this post and still recommend it to people occasionally. I was also blown away by the one about her dinosaur costume

26.01.2026 23:59 β π 26 π 6 π¬ 1 π 0US gov't officials were *instructed* to refer to Alex Pretti as a "terrorist". Be sure to use your language effectively as well. ICE and DHS are terrorists. Alex Pretti's death was not a murder, but an *execution*.
25.01.2026 21:36 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0She'd forgotten that when they named me, they felt the rhythm was better with the Japanese name first. I agree, and I'm grateful that she and my dad paid attention to that kind of detail.
Going by middle names is a PITA though, because filling out forms always result in people using your first name
My parents gave us an anglo first name and a Japanese middle name. The Japanese name is a nice marker of our heritage but all of us go by our anglo first names. Except. When I was 13 my mom pulled out my birth certificate and found that Kim is actually my middle name.
25.01.2026 07:39 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0One day, saner heads will prevail and US governments will look back on this time and admit that a fascist US government encouraged its authorities to murder its own citizens. For now, those in charge will continue to lie, but the rest of the world bears witness and none of us are fooled.

21.01.2026 17:58 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Also, some stories are just long enough that there is a scroll bar but no way to scroll, because if you try to move the cursor to the text window you lose the story

21.01.2026 17:55 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0What weird synchronicity. I haven't had to buy socks in years, and just a few hours ago I had a sock spring a hole

βLast year [2024-25] was our worst flu season in almost two decades, and I was hoping we might have a mild flu season this year. That does not appear to be the case.β

With Cuba in Trump's sights, I would be wary of travelling there right now. It's the first time I've been concerned (I've been 12 times since 2005).

12.01.2026 15:16 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Who was the former agent interviewed? (I'm in Canada so I can't view the video.)
Canada's CTV aired a very good interview with retired FBI special agent Dan Brunner.
