Watching what is unfolding down in the U.S. makes me think that history will identify the failure of Mitch McConnel to impeach him in the senate, along with the laggardly/reluctant approach of Merrick Garland to bring a former president to justice in a timely manner.

What we are seeing in the U.S. is why we Canadians can never ever take our own democracy for granted, and how utterly important it is for each of us to excercise our right to vote, each and every time.

Speaking of Trojan Horses, I can't help but feel that Trump is bringing all this military equipment into D.C. for more than just a parade.

I suspect that Facebook is now requiring this new level of ID verification as part of tRump's 2.0 nonsense. Ain't gonna happen. There's nothing in my FB account worthy of me sharing my driver's license or passport to the *worst* data harvester of all.

Last week I updated my Facebook acount with current email address + new password. Now, FB advises they've locked me out -security suspicions, & get this, they want either copy of my driver's license or passport! Yet they never asked for anything close to that when I signed up. Farewell Facebook!

When I think of the Toronto Maple Leafs' Legends Row, and ask if any current Leafs deserve to be there, my answer is a solid "No". Those on the Row are there not because of scoring records or winning it all, but because of their passion, compete level and drive, proudly wearing the blue and white.

The more I read, the more I think that things being done by the orange felon are being done to incite anger/outrage. Deportations? Pardoning rioters? Tariffs on movies? Reducing the number of Generals? Terminating Energy Star? There's not an iota of logic to them. Common thread is anger-inducing.

Some people have recently posted about how much money the tRump-supporting tech-billionaires lost in the market recently and that their tRump support didn't pay off. Remember, that storyline hasn't been completely written yet....as he now suggests certain U.S. companies will be exempt from tariffs..

Just thinking out loud.....What if Trump is levying tariffs as a means to extort countries into paying him personally (i.e. via payments into DJT stock or crypto etc.) in order to remove their tariff?
