I don't spend enough time anymore centering myself on gratitude. I can almost forget just how empowering it can be.

I'm grateful for the moments that I'm able to find that "resume button."

Tell me something you're grateful for.

Having said all that, it's weird how when you're busy with your daily challenges, you put a lot of other things on pause. Sometimes I find myself coming out of "the pause" and waking up into places that I almost forgot about. Today, for example, I'm sitting in the park thinking about how lucky I am.

I'll start.
I'm doing pretty well. In many ways, better than ever older, fatter, balder but better. I feel like, as I age, I encounter more and more challenges, but I've also developed a significant amount of resilience as well as a drive towards meaningful purpose.

Went for a run and... I guess tree snakes are a thing now.

I've been lighting prayer candles for people I know at the local shrine. I told my mom that I've been doing this lately and she asked how much I've been donating for each candle.

I think Pillsbury Toaster Strudels were my favorite growing up.

This "Dead Branch" has been strongly connected to the tree since the '90s. I remember my dad used to go tree fishing. He would occasionally throw a metal rod with a rope over this branch and pull with all of his strength, hoping it would come down. It never budged. Sometimes I feel like this Branch.

Yeah, and I really wish they would start celebrating the Christmas season immediately after Halloween ends because they never celebrate the season close enough to the beginning of the year.

There was a user that was doing that to me as well. Someone needs to add a "rate limiter" in the account settings that prevents a person from following you more than once every 48 hours.

Not sure how Bluesky is supposed to work.
