Ain't it grand how the money changes hands.
17.02.2026 06:12 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0That's still just the argument from incredulity. It's not evidence.
There is no evidence anywhere in nature that any god has ever existed, and nothing ever observed about the universe requires a god to explain it.
I didn't expect that.

17.02.2026 03:52 β π 10 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Oh. It's "look at the trees". This is the argument from incredulity, and is not evidence for any god.
Even in a short post you could name one piece of evidence if you had one.
"Standing the test of time" is just the argument from antiquity. It doesn't make anything correct.
What evidence do you have that your god exists? (Hint: You cannot use the Bible as evidence for anything.)
So that's the god who's in favor of rape, slavery, and genocide?
16.02.2026 23:21 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0And which god of the Bible did you mean?
16.02.2026 20:13 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Yes, it's a collection of stories about several gods, and gods are all fake. (You don't think it's a monotheistic book, do you?)
I've read it. Several times. The fact that lots of people buy copies is irrelevant.
" I just want someone to tell me what to do. No one will tell me."

Which god?
16.02.2026 07:32 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Those are some tired apologetics. The fact is that nothing written about Jesus is any older than 40-60 years after he died. No way does anything verbatim survive that.
The Bible is a self-contradictory collection of mostly fiction, some of which may be loosely based on the life of some guy.
Nothing in the Bible is evidence of what Christ said. That's the point. There are no contemporaneous records of what he said.

16.02.2026 02:54 β π 9 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This is silly beyond words.
My great-great-great grandfather wrote in his journal that he was part of the Mormon Battalion.
Of course, Christ's "actual teachings" are completely unknown, even allowing that he existed. We have zero idea what he actually said, and probably never will.
As @maklelan.bsky.social points out, the Bible doesn't "say" anything. We read things into it.
Bots can learn, but probably not in the way you're hoping.
16.02.2026 02:04 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This is ironically vague. Using AI to hunt down stories sounds potentially useful. But it's not clear what "writing" means to this person.
There's a discussion to be had here. I'm not sure what this contributes to it.
I wish they insisted on sources before posting a page.
16.02.2026 00:20 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This is just bizarre. Shoot a series in gorgeous black and white, then colorize it so badly that it looks like AI slop? What are they snorting at Prime these days?
(You have to skip to the halfway point to get the good looking trailer.)
I never developed the habit for "Jesus Christ" so I don't use it much, but my language is plenty salty now. I credit my daughter for helping me with that.
