12 Polling Places Move Before Mississippi Special Elections, 4 Close County election officials in Mississippi have moved 12 polling places and closed four since 2024, an MFP investigation finds.

NEW: 12 Mississippi polling places have moved and 4 have been closed ahead of the Nov. 4 legislative special elections, an MFP investigation finds.

Counties also have incorrect addresses in the state system for 11 polling places, risking sending some voters to the wrong location.

There's no public list of polling places, so we had to make a public records request for a list of polling places & contact election officials in all 18 counties involved in Tuesday's special elections to verify changes.

Corporate-owned media is on the same side as corporate-owned government. It is not an honest broker and does not act in good faith even though many people involved with it do.

The Diplomat certainly cranks that knob to 11. On another note, I can’t decide if I like Kerry Russell.
