Silver lining (because I need moments of joy): I’ve read SO much in the last couple of weeks. I throw on an audiobook, put some background noise on YouTube, and listen & knit. Currently on the last book in the Murderbot Diaries series

At any given time, I like having a sock (must have), a “simple” project, and a “I have to focus on this” project. What I work on depends on my mood and my mental health. Need to stop spinning my wheels? Complex project that needs my attention. Need to ponder on something? Simple project it is.

Knitting (and crochet) has been SO important as a way to manage/improve my mental health. Whether I need something simple that lets me contemplate something or a complicated project that stops me from spinning my wheels.
