He/Him. By night, I'm a writer working on my novel when I'm not caught up in life. Expect excerpts and some stories. Not on X and ain't interested. I'm open to DMs. Black Lives Matter. Trans Rights = Human Rights Working for better things.
Appreciate the rec. I'll wishlist later.
21.01.2026 17:57 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Part of it is that some reporters in the White House press corps want access to Trump, but no answers from him.
21.01.2026 17:45 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Hate that he had the cheek to take that photo with rosary.
But he's destroying decades of work to protect people the world through vaccination and a mainstream publication is rewarding with a front page portrait and uncritical praise.
Where's the warranted skepticism here?
I'll definitely read this later.
17.10.2025 18:11 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I run into difficulty with this for submissions from time to time. I think it's best to write the story you want and if it doesn't qualify, you still have a short story in your bibliography.
You're more likely to win a comp write something that resonates with you.
I'm going to read the article when I have a free moment to make sure I'm not going off headline vibes, but I have to ask if this is one of the hard journalistic questions we need to asking right now in the moment.
04.10.2025 20:25 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I had a different concept of Murderbot in my head, but his portrayal and the show's expansion on the novel worked.
The show cut deep.
If I recall correctly, The Red Scholar's Wake by Aliette de Bodard has a wedding, given both protagonists become bonded to each other through marriage, albeit arranged. Good romance too.
But it's space adventure, so maybe that's a dealbreaker.
Happy Birthday!
06.08.2025 23:15 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Fam, LibreOffice is a much better word processor and it works without a connection. Plus, Google Docs does have privacy and security issues too.
06.08.2025 01:13 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Research is the secret sauce that fills out your writing and makes it go down easier. It's not prose or plotting, which are also big ingredients, but research helps your writing feel more real.

This work, and the words, are some of my favorite of yours.
09.07.2025 02:00 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I'd like to follow and maybe get involved in that project when it does, so I'll be on the lookout for it.
06.06.2025 19:40 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0My best wishes for them and their families. I've helped a few family members with illnesses in the past, so I sympathize.

06.06.2025 10:09 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Gonna continue to be radio silent here for a bit since I'm quietly working on a few personal and professional things this summer, but I think I'll have some good updates on the other side.
03.06.2025 00:08 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0It sucks you have to put up with this because the administration made out immigration system more of a clown show.
Definitely hoping things get better and I'll be rooting for you.
You'd think that with the number of cokeheads in that power circle, they'd be more familiar with drugs in general.
09.05.2025 02:44 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Mad random to be saying this, but y'all worth fighting for.
24.04.2025 10:43 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Thanks, that means a lot and I'm working to get it done.
12.04.2025 20:19 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Realty should be reality.
Also want to say this is one of my favorite daily motivators.
Real words, though I don't think we'll get the Rim States out of this even if the situation here becomes maximally bad.
I'm kinda hopeful now that people are waking with trade shitshow, but cynical part of me is annoyed that take people losing money and security to act now.
It's striking how much Russian forces failed to learn from their wars in Chechnya, which led to them not applying those lessons against the Chechens, thankfully, though seemingly western defense analysts forgot these lessons too.
I'll spool this out into a thread later, when I have the time.
Sure am. Thanks for the invite.

Day 125 of daily protests in Georgia.
While we need to forge new political approaches and methods of resistance, we are again out today, because we simply wonβt stop - we cannot. This is our endgame, the issue of our existence as a nation, and our life here or lifetime emigration at best. 1/2
We have protestors against genocide getting snatched off the street and deported and while billionaires buy the media, but let me take a moment to spotlight a true tragedy, Idaho banning truck nuts.
This is how civil wars start.

If you lock yourself in a room and avoid everyone on April Fool's Day, you avoid being fooled, like that guy in Final Destination who locked himself away to cheat death.
