yes, I got escargot at the Dresden, you know at these kinda joints they are always gon serve the classic dishes perfectly

got an exterior shot with a few smokers, this is along Hillhurst right above where Hollywood Blvd and Sunset meet.

One of my favorite old Hollywood haunts is the Dresden in Los Feliz, between downtown and Hollywood. Made famous, and then too crowded after Swingers, with the famous Marty & Elaine singing with the bar right on top of their piano.

Sometimes goin' wild with toppings is great, like when you're making homemade pizzas. This was more a Mexican flavor flatbread with chorizo, sour cream, hot sauce, and cilantro, but turned out fantastic! 🍽️

New York style slices from Mama's Pizza, sent airmail from Sam working on his newest video short for us here at BOP. His mother is 88 and they go out for lunch once a week, so far the snow and freezing temps haven't slowed them down.

This was a pinball, beer, hot dog joint in Eagle Rock, Los Angeles. The dummy's head reminds me of Bill Murray playing Hunter S. Thompson. Fun place, good pinball, excellent hot dogs.

This is from the L.A. Farmer's Market at 3rd and Fairfax, great stop for food, fun, and people watching. I love the green table color for this pic.

French onion soup, from the iconic French restaurant in Los Angeles, Echo Park on Sunset. I probably have 20 pics of French onion soup, always a go to order at a quality restaurant.

Opened up the drive, threw 3 darts, and here are the pics I hit for today.

I wish I had a wide shot of the entire Olvera Street, it's half tourist trap and half little historic oasis in a sea of downtown freeways and modern buildings. Oh and the taquitos are outstanding, get with the avocado sauce

I like getting a shot of the menu's, to remember the dishes.

They let me in the kitchen for this shot of the old school cooking. Very cool people working here.

Today's tasty flashback is from Olvera Street Taquitos in downtown Los Angeles, the historic part which for L.A. is really old, but it's dated from about 1820. There are a bunch of shops/restaurants along with the Avila Adobe and the Pico House built by last Mexican Governor of Ca.
