I had turned 18 just a few weeks before the election and she somehow knew I was going to vote for Obama.

I LOVE voting by mail in #Oregon. I have so much time to research and read about candidates and make an informed decision. I don’t have to take off work.

The ONLY time I’ve had my vote stolen illegally was in the very red state of #Tennessee.

My abusive (but charming) mother told the voting center staff she wanted to “show me how to use the machines” since it was my first election. She proceeded to vote red down the line.

The basalt cobble beach at Yaquina Head in Newport, #Oregon will forever be my favorite beach. The tide pools at low tide are incredible, but I love the sound of the cobbles rolling down when the tide is higher.

Adding a window, I have an air purifier, and double doors on an 8 foot wall make it mostly and indoor outdoor room when open. We’ll be good! ☺️

After several hectic months of moving, we are happy to be settled and back in Central Oregon! Now to make a new pottery studio 💪

I completed my student teaching program in several inner city schools in Chatt. The immigrant students were so respectful and hard working, they improved class behavior as a whole. They truly wanted to learn, and as a result EVERYONE LEARNED MORE. This is pure racism.

And this, Rocky Top, is one of many reasons why you are no longer “home sweet home” to me.
