Spent two hours in the airport bar with a lovely couple from Somerset gently steering them away from all discussions of politics. I think I deserve a medal.

Made it to Heathrow - must now wax lyrical about how great Brighton is, despite the silly stone beach. What a delightfully queer town! I swear I saw more people like me there than I have anywhere else. I’m leaving with a happy glow that not even 26 hours on a plane could dim.

Any way, goodbye Brighton! It’s been a pleasure. Hope to be back soon so I can finally get into that bloody Toy museum.

It’s literally fifty metres from my hotel. Hell, it’s one of the reasons I CHOSE this hotel.

The goddamn Brighton Toy and Model museum has become my white whale. Not open till 1:30pm every weekday I was here. Then apparently NOT OPEN AT ALL ON SUNDAY. Am going to hang around in Brighton for an extra two hours tomorrow to try to squeeze it in because I’m GETTING IN THERE DAMNIT.
