I did the same thing checking Felix’s progress. The one drive issue with the tracker was so annoying, but the updated posts of the standings did help my anxiety!

• King Félix has been terribly undersold so far in voting. He checks a ton of boxes. He was dominant in his era. • Buehrle was the American League’s Tom Glavine. It boggles my mind that more people don’t see this. • Abreu is vastly superior to Baines, and Baines got in. • Jones has the resume, but I can’t get past the Christmas 2012 domestic incident. • Beltrán has the resume, but I can’t get past the Astros cheating scandal. [Ed. note: I then asked about Utley and Pettitte, since they are highest in vote share this year behind Beltrán and Jones] • Pettitte is a no because of PED admission. • Looking back on the ballot, I acknowledge that I vastly undersold Utley. I should have voted for him, on bWAR alone. My apologies to Utley. I will rectify if I am fortunate enough to vote again next year.

I love their reply! It’s read exactly how I defended their votes. No cheaters, no DVers, just adding Utley in retrospect, it’s a great ballot. They drew some lines and stuck to their principles.
