In Elezen, that growth spurt happens "well into [their] 20s", but they're longer lived than Hyur in general, so that makes sense. If Highlanders, who are analogous to humans, got theirs around 17-19 it'd certainly explain a lot, lmao. That's why Wilred was a tiny baby, while Arenvald's a Big Boy. 💜👌

I remember reading somewhere that Hyur and Elezen share a common ancestor, and I like to imagine, because of that common ancestor, they're similar in other ways, e.g., Highlanders experiencing a growth spurt like Elezen do but a bit earlier, prior to which they're indistinguishable from Midlanders.
