Think s5 would have been fine if the preceding 4 hadn’t been so mould-shatteringly outstanding. It only felt weak by comparison.

Stick with the period, dump out the cheesy, patronising tone of the black African/Afrikaaner reconciliation subplot for something more painfully real, dial up the political edge, and leave everything else *exactly the way it is.*
