Interesting repair today. #Amiga 1200 Infinitiv Tower the owner imported from Poland. UK border force stuck their hand in it and managed to rip the reset wire connector from the motherboard. Breaking a trace & pad and snapping an SMD resistor. All repaired.

The history is a bit muddier than that. Some of the early PAL machines were NTSCs that Commodore converted.

Just changed the batteries in mine. This is 7AM in my workshop with the window open. I have a fan on me right now, I might move that to the diagnostics bench so I can work there today.

In theory, yes. It will handle ECS modes, so should handle that. I’m not sure I have anything on floppy to test that though.

Not all of them are bad humans on there. There is also a large increase in romance scam and propaganda AI bots too.
