Why is anyone talking about a third term when they could be talking about Epstein?

The top three things Jesus was on about were feeding the hungry, healing the sick, and welcoming the stranger. Rich men have convinced so-called Christians to starve the hungry, gut health care, and deport the stranger to enrich themselves. Itโ€™s astoundingly anti-Christ.

A woman is killed by a man every 3 days in the UK...

78% are murdered by a partner/ex

Yet not once have I heard Reform talk about this

Not once have I heard them back measures to protect womenโ€™s safety

In fact, they voted against them...

Stupidity and royal self-entitlement sank Andrew, and it may not be over yet Indulged by his mother and ignored for too long by his siblings, it is behaviour like Andrewโ€™s that could ultimately kill the monarchy

Extraordinary thing about the Epstein saga is it has resulted in only one person going to jail โ€” a woman. Ghislaine was heavily involved, but not a user of Epsteinโ€™s services. No question of jail for Andrew: he needs only drop a prefix before his name. www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2025...

Thousands on benefits could have energy debt cancelled by Ofgem Regulator Ofgem plans to cut ยฃ500m from the stack of customer debt - but other billpayers will cover the cost.

The energy bill write off con.

Fuel poverty rising, debt ยฃ4.4bn. Ofgem says ยฃ500m could be written off.

It would be added to the bills of other customers. Energy companies made ยฃ514bn operating profit since 2020.

No cut in their profit. Debt would be rebuilt

Nationalise energy. End profiteering

Food is too expensive, controlled by billionaires.
Energy is too expensive, controlled by billionaires.
Housing is too expensive, controlled by billionaires.
Wages are too low, controlled by billionaires.

I'm going to blame... immigrants.

This is why pushback matters. When forced to actually defend racism they get into a muddle. (See also Tory ILR plans).

If racism has no place in his party, then Nigel Farage should prove it by withdrawing the whip from Sarah Pochin immediately.

We must act now: without a written constitution, Reform UK will have carte blanche to toxify our nation | Goerge Monbiot It means breaking with hundreds of years of tradition, but it canโ€™t wait. As hard-right figures spread division and laud autocrats, a fail-safe is vital, says Guardian columnist George Monbiot

The Spectator and others have chosen (deliberately I suspect) to interpret this article as a desire to stop a future Reform UK government from legislating. My purpose is to stop *any* government crushing our fundamental rights. Itโ€™s just more urgent now. ๐Ÿงต www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

A chart of the Caerphilly election result showing a Plaid victory, a labour decimation, and over a third of voters voting for Reform.

A chart of the Caerphilly election result showing a Plaid victory, a labour decimation, and over a third of voters voting for Reform.

It's the result we may want.

But over a third of people voted for an incompetent lying self-serving racist party that works for Russia and would hand the NHS to insurance companies.

The death penalty is in itself an abomination. But apparently, for the good folks of Alabama (and 6 Justices of the US Supreme Court) it is not enough. They have to *torture* people to death.

And they claim to be pro-life.

Farage declares that he's "on strike" at PMQs - not that he ever does his bloody job anyway Farage to go home and take his toys with him as nobody will ask him a question at PMQs - will now boil his piss from the gallery instead

During PMQs Nigel Farage stood up to announce that heโ€™s going on โ€œstrikeโ€. The overblown man-baby doesnโ€™t like the fact that all the other MPs keep criticising him, poor chap. Unfortunately, in order for a strike to work, youโ€™d have to do work that anybody would miss in the first place

The Caerphilly result is what we need to see everywhere at the next election: people coordinating to vote tactically for parties which seek a fairer, kinder, greener country.
Pushing out both those who have betrayed our trust AND those who seek to exploit that betrayal.

It's almost as if 2024's massive rejection of mealy-mouthed, downward-spiral, centre-right, blame-the-poor, end-game-capitalism, austerity-obsessed politics was a signal to Labour that the country was desperate for something else.

Katie Lamโ€™s anti-immigrant rhetoric sounds a lot like that of the 1930s The Kent MP is espousing views that would have barred entry to her own ancestors when they were fleeing the Nazis

The anti-migrant language about "cultural coherence" used by rising Tory star Katie Lam sounds very much like the 1930s, when her grandmother found sanctuary in the UK www.prospectmagazine.co.uk/politics/pol...

Reform lost by 11% in Caerphilly - because of a surge in turnout, because Reform looked set to win the seat.

This illustrates Reform's vulnerability *because* they are leading the polls (in a 6 party system) while being an *unpopular* party. A much bigger problem under FPTP 2029 than PR 2026
