TLDR is be aware of when you're being exploited and be the change you want to see in the world.

I'm going to try to limit posts like this going forward. I just got fired up in light of a certain CEO and people saying things should have gone differently.

it turns out, under capitalism, the business of exploiting, enslaving and extorting people is the most rewarding of all. many of the worst people in the world hide in the shadows and live wonderful fantastic lives off the backs of the greater populace.

take for example the governor of Michigan who KNOWINGLY POISONED A GENERATION OF CHILDREN IN FLINT. he should get what he deserves right? well the supreme court didn't think so. they threw his case out and he walks free to this day.

under capitalism, it's easy to understand why the people in control like this narrative:

"if I just keep gambling, eventually I'm gonna win big"

"if I just keep working, eventually it's all gonna pay off"

-and most important of all-

"that guy is a scumbag, but he will get what he deserves"

my body is a machine that turns cheap knives into slightly less cheap looking knives

"this is something you've chosen to care about and subsequently allowed to disrupt your mental wellbeing"

I don't know if there's anything more liberating than just not having an opinion.

unburden yourself. stop caring about things that don't effect you. form an opinion when the time comes.
