I haven’t tried it. You don’t always go wide or have a ton of permanents so I’m hesitant

I haven’t personally tried them myself, but I can say that having the more consistent and resilient mana base like you see in this version is very strong. Your acceleration comes from dark ritual and priest, and being able to always make your turns 1-3 plays and have no issues with wasteland is huge

The matchup feels very favored toward clerics. My only losses in the past were due to flooding which the changes I mentioned here corrected.

Took down the Manhattan Premodern meetup last night with Mono-B Clerics. Happy with my updates to the CPS-winning list. Nearly got the 4-0, 8-0 but got punished for a greedy play.
