It was a pleasure to meet new the Trafford DL Pawanbir Singh doing his first British Citizenship Ceremony with us at Trafford Register Office, Sale Town Hall.

One of my roles as Mayor of Trafford is to chair the regular @traffordcouncil.bsky.social meetings. There wes one last night in Trafford Town Hall. Thank you to my chaplain Ashley Hardingham of Altrincham Baptist Church and my consort John Brophy for being so supportive.

I had the privilege of cutting 4 red ribbons to unveil the recent work of the @foainterchange.bsky.social

Thank you for the wonderful work of the supporters and volunteers. The improvements to the station area were impressive. It was great to the interesting local history and culture on display!

Really enjoyed meeting Sale Central Brownies for a tour of Trafford Town Hall, the Council Chamber and the Mayor’s Parlour, along with Cllr Eve Parker and Leader Cllr Tom Ross. The girls asked some great questions and were a delight to be with!

Thank you for the lovely celebration of Friendship with the League of Jewish Women and the Council of Christians & Jews, at the Stenecourt Synagogue in Salford. I was honoured to speak, along with others, and extend warm greetings of love and friendship on behalf of the borough of Trafford.

Once again I enjoyed giving the certificates at the British Citizenship Ceremony with people from all over the world. 🇬🇧

It was great to meet Martin Ainscough CBE DL again, High Sheriff of Greater Manchester.

Thank you to all the Trafford Council staff, officers, councillors and representatives from the armed forces who turned out at Trafford Town Hall for the two-minute silence for Remembrance Day on Tuesday 11th November 11AM. 🙏♥️

We attended the Manchester Airport Festival of Remembrance 2025 inside the Corcorde hanger.

It was a moving service with music, videos, cadet drills, hymns and multi-faith prayers for peace. We remembered to always remember those who gave up their lives so we can live freely today.

Always good on a Tuesday morning to do the British Citizenship Ceremony with people from all over the world. 🇬🇧

Thank you Trafford Local Studies for hosting a special Heritage Open Day at Sale Town Hall. We had an interesting time seeing the displays, meeting local artists and hearing fascinating talks.

We were honoured to attend the VJ Day 80th anniversary ceremony and national silence in the sunken garden at Trafford Town Hall.

As Mayor and Consort of Trafford we were delighted to be guests at the reopening of ⁦‪Manchester United‬⁩ Men’s First Team Building at Carrington. It was such an honour to meet Sir Alex Ferguson and many others. Thank you for the tour of the incredible new facilities for the players!

We had a super interesting time at the Emergency Services Day at the Trafford Centre. We met some great and inspirational people including Simon Layton and Brooke Trotter.

As Mayor of Trafford it’s always an honour to do the British Citizenship Ceremony at Sale Town Hall with people from all over the world. It was lovely to see Eamonn O’Neil OBE DL again, the staff at Trafford Registration Services and the Mayor’s Office at Trafford Council.

We an amazing time at the String of Hearts Showcase listening to the music and joining in with the singing, clapping and dancing! 💖

We enjoyed creating hearts with stickers and making friends with people!

String of Hearts is a music charity which connects isolated older adults through music.

We had a great time and met some truly wonderful people at the Our Sale West Extravaganza - family fun day!

We had a really interesting tour with at the Trafford Local Studies & Archive Centre at Waterside House (inc. The Frank Sidebottom Exhibition).

Trafford Local Studies have an incredible amount of fascinating historic material including the original document of 1290 of the Altrincham Charter.

Lovely to do another British Citizenship Ceremony at Sale Town Hall with people from all over the world. Great to work with Karen Wilson DL and all the staff at Trafford Registration Services.

It was lovely to be invited to ⁦‪⁦‪‬⁩ Victoria Park Junior School to present the annual VPJS Values Award.

The Award is in memory of Ruth Rogers who worked at the school for 38 years, linked to the school values of Respect, Equality, Aspiration, Responsibility, Love and Courage. ⁦‪

A great experience to meet everyone at the Ashton on Mersey School Annual Presentation Evening at Manchester United Football Club.

Good to invited as Mayor of Trafford to met many interesting people at the Networking Reception with the Ambassadors of the EU. The event celebrated the rich European connections of Greater Manchester, a city with a long history of international cooperation and cultural exchange. 🇪🇺

We had a wonderful evening with the Altrincham Choral Society – “Make a Joyful Noise!” Concert at St Mary’s Church, Moss Lane, Sale. We were treated to a selection of choral gems by Rutter, Jenkins, Chilcott, Whitacre featuring Mezzo Soprano soloist Sophie Clarke and more accompanied by piano. 🎶🎶🎶
