Holy crap, that was insane!

I’ve been on a lot of flights to some interesting places doing what I do, but that was BY FAR the most heart pounding landing. St Barth over the hill with some very interesting crosswinds today. Even the seasoned pilot said today was “interesting.”

I tried to take a photo of a grasshopper on my windshield, but now it looks like a gigantic bug destroying the town.

On arrival to St Barth we checked in for our Winair flight back to SXM. They asked if we’d like to fly back earlier and the answer was “no, thank you.”

This layover is strictly for plane spotting at the top of the famous hill. And conditions today are far from ideal. It’s a real battle on final.

How does this compare with "would of thought" - although that's something that's not new/recent.
