Ive seen people too scared to scrim because they think their ability to get further in the scene will be hindered by a bad performance. In a way they're right as that's how lots of people get noticed when trying to get into +3/+2. There's no "safe" practice without judgement

I don't have any of the drivers for my scanner or drawing tablet on my computer yet. I wonder if it would be loser behavior to do architecture work on a drawing tablet or if its a secret goat method

I want to do well in architecture but I am unfortunately not as locked in as I want to be. My brain wants to go the easy route and cut off everything non architecture related but I know that will only hurt me in the end

There's a story building up inside of me that is very obviously splatoon inspired but I think it's far away enough from it to not be a ripoff... I just really need to start making actual OCS instead of just world building

My #DarkWoke opinion on comp is that this shit is genetic. If you got it, you got it. If you don't, you don't.

I am just kinda hoping they are taking initiative on their own to improve. Idk if I can ask them to put more time into the game outside of slotted practice times.

Coaching is fun. This time around I've been making massive massive slide shows which I present a small section each week. I want them to understand fundamentals so much more but to do that and vod during practice means they dont play at all during practice. I can't force them to play outside of time

Lots of colleges have Splatoon teams now! In the US anyway. Lots of them aren't very serious

Haven't talked about it on Twitter but I'm a Splatoon coach for my schools splatoon team now. It's been fun and tiring since they don't have as much drive compared to other teams I've coached in the past.
