home from the laundromat, could not bring myself to wash Charlotte's many blankets, only her many dog beds (i kept them in all the rooms but the kitchen and bath, so she could snooze easy throughout the house). soon would come her wake-up time, potty, breakfast, walk, pills, the measures of my day

as always, i am up early on Tuesday to head off to the laundromat at 6, but it is a day unlike all others because i need not worry about waking my beloved Charlotte. i always tried to slip out and back without bothering her. still can't bring myself to put away her water bowls.
