On my 'Songs From The Lynher' album I played all instruments and sang all voices. I got someone else to mix it. I took the photos for the sleeve, registered the tracks with PRS and PPL, wrote out the lyrics. Someone else put it all together. I also registered the barcode and ISRC numbers. 🤯

After which you feel you never want to do it ever again.

In the British Museum last year I seemed to be the only one looking at the exhibits: everyone else was viewing via a smartphone.

Apparently I went for a drink with him and two other Scousers at Fidlers Ferry Inn between the Mersey and the Manchester Ship canal, many, many years ago. Sadly I can't remember it.

I introduced the Glenmorangie because I'd been told that if Glasgow audiences didn't like you they'd start throwing things at the stage. Once I'd introduced the whisky the audience were lovely.
