Congrats to the team! Very nice study. I find it especially interesting that blocking NFAT can compensate for the effects of anti-PD1/LAG3.
12.05.2025 13:29 β π 1 π 1 π¬ 1 π 0Thank you! Yes, we have only largely looked at a few markers in the functional assays. I think as our model is very TCR signal driven (tolerogenic) it suggests it may more preferentially signal down that pathway. In terms of under co-stimulation or CD8 biology, we have not yet looked!

After initial priming in the lymph nodes, mouse CD8 T cells undergo a second phase of stable interactions with dendritic cells that can preferentially stimulate those with a high-affinity for antigen.

11.04.2025 07:23 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Figure 4 from paper shows how anti-IFNg reduces markers of TCR signal strength and attenuates Tr1 cell differentiation in the Tg4 model
Highlights:
- A single high dose of modified self-peptide induces Tr1 cells
-Tr1 cell development is positively regulated by IFNΞ³
- Anti-IFNΞ³ treatment reduces markers of strong TCR signaling and Tr1 cell frequency
- Blocking IL-27 in combination with anti-IFNΞ³ additively reduces Tr1 cell frequency

BLUESKY MEGA-THREAD
Altmetric is thrilled and also LITERALLY RELIEVED to officially announce:
We are now tracking research attention as it happens on Bluesky!
We have been picking up posts on the site since late Oct.
Our team is on Bluesky all day answering questions.
Let's get into it!
βA place of joyβ: why scientists are joining the rush to Bluesky Researchers say the social-media platform β an alternative to X β offers more control over the content they see and the people they engage with.: https://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-024-03784-6
There are already many articles for which there is more attention on Bluesky than on other comparable micro-blogging sites, meaning the academic community and the general public have clearly adopted Bluesky as one of its core places to disseminate and discuss new research.
A Place of Joy.
Scientists, academics, researchers: Weβre excited to share that @altmetric.com is now tracking mentions of your research on Bluesky! π§ͺ
