Oh totally, and tracking his influence as a catcher is really tough unless specific pitchers leave the team, but then new locale has an impact. It's like wild multivariate statistics.

Also I caught a ton growing up so I personally weigh being a catcher as tougher than other positions.

I bet it's also hard to quantify because he was catching a great rotation, so it turns into a chicken and egg situation.

Also I grew up with Dave Valle who had beer prices pegged to his avg so Cal hitting 60 nukes as a Mariner was amazing to me.

I really like the Mariners. I think Judge is a monster batter. I didn't see enough of his games to make a judgment on his defense. But I saw articles plural about how Cal works really hard with his pitchers to approach batters such that they trust his calls and I think that's valuable too.
