The heart of SL is its residents. Not AI.

Misleading, fake AI ads are not the way to bring people into SL. What happened to showcasing user content? The videos, the interviews? Showing the worlds that are being created by actual residents, for residents.

And why use AI? Why not just actual SL avatars?

If I was someone new to SL and saw this ad, i would assume all I had to do was log onto the mobile app, and I could create my avatar to look like this.

The premise of the ad is showing people that they can have their avatar their way, but they're using AI and not actual SL avatars.

LL using AI to create an ad that is entirely misleading. You cannot make your avatar look like this unless you're using the desktop viewers. Second...

The voice definitely doesn't go with the video. I'm also surprised they used the word "tribe," which has become reserved for indigenous people. This whole ad missed the mark.
