The main part of the build is composed of an intricate system of twisting and interwoven prims, forming a large spindle-like shape that hovers above a circular inverted fountain, with the water pouring down from all sides into a hole at the fountain's center. Floating at the heart of the spindle shape itself is a glowing black orb, with three tentacles reaching out from it in different directions. Two end in the air in front of the spindle, while the third arcs downward, piercing into the terrain, toward the fountain, and coming out again through the water's surface.

The table is framed by a partially transparent pyramid (with the walls only there on two sides, so that the exhibit remains open to the road). On the outside of the two pyramid walls are seven decorative prims that stretch along the walls' entire length, evenly spaced from base to top and in the colors of the rainbow. On the inside of the walls are sky textures with a few scattered clouds.

A big thanks to @maxwellgraf.secondlife.bio for reminding me that I never posted about my #SL22B exhibit! I cling to the weight of old accomplishments, like an anchor that traps me in the past, the buoyancy of bygone pride now tethered to self-doubt. A picture of me in the lotus position in a forest glade, sunbeams landing on me in a moment of serene meditation, one of the benefits of Second Life which is not so virtual. Mindfulness can be mindless.

More pictures of different light in the forest I have been making, using new trees and plants and grasses and rocks, a project that is long overdue. Zen is your hands in the dirt, say the masters.

Pictures of the lighting and atmospheric gloom under the canopy of dense, tall trees. While more stylized than realistic, the overall feel and light of such a place was something I have wanted to capture for many years and never fully realized my vision for it until now.

Under different lighting conditions with the new EEP settings, a wide range of looks and impressions can be had. Here are two images showing approaching nightfall and the darkest of moonless nights around a warm campfire in the forest. Making them spooky is a big part of what I was trying to accomplish.

Finally building a forest in #SecondLife with all the trees and plants I've been making - something I've wanted to do for years now. There is a particular kind of feel, a gloom or light that happens under a canopy of very dense, tall trees and I could never quite find what I was looking for.

I am not okay, he thought. Not in the slightest.

I think I can almost imagine what "okay" might someday look like, but I don't know how to get there or if I can even reach it on my own.
