No, and you're right that would help. With issues in someone's past, those making a decision to 'hire' him look to counterbalance the past with recent written records. Agreeing with what he says is one important step but not all that's needed.

Can you follow up? Specifically which of Mills' ideas are too old? Why it is the "playbook which has failed to unseat Collins" instead of other factors? How did establmnt Collins win against establmnt Dems? What is new/effective in his approach? Will he pledge to support Dem candidate if he loses?

Total sympathy for anyone w PTSD; in my family I've seen it affect stress responses, anger control, black-and-white vs nuanced thinking; decision urgency; ability to work with others vs need to command; sleep disorders; perspective on self; and even paranoia. None of that their fault.

So far his campaign hasn't offered any visible record of skills like staff management; good communication w ppl who worked under his direction and ppl who directed him; experience overseeing financl decisions or big budget or separate staffs (PR, legislative, state and DC offices, communication)
