I have worked with individuals with disabilities, since 1990. I guarantee the number of reported abuse cases is grossly inaccurate! I have worked individuals who have been sexually and physically assaulted by caretakers. Formal charges are rarely filed because 99% of them are nonverbal. Just sad…
