I'm writing about nonincreasing sequences of zeroes and ones. So you could have all zeroes, all ones, a one followed by zeroes, two ones followed by zeroes, etc. (Here a sequence is a function from ω, the set of natural numbers, to { 0 , 1 }). How many such sequences are there?

Seeing predator-prey interactions does have a certain circle-of-life harshness to it, fair, but it is also kind of cool and amazing. I watched www.inaturalist.org/observations... for many minutes when I ran into them on a hike.

As much as I love wildlife of many sorts (including in my backyard), the house vs not-house line you are drawing here sounds reasonable to me.

Clusters of cylindrical green blooms on a vigorous clump of short green milkweed, with long, wavy-margined leaves that feel like plastic. Not in this short, but a bumblebee visited while I was taking this photo.

I just love short green milkweed (Asclepias viridiflora), which has been a part of the native flora in all but one of the states I've lived (IA, KS, AZ, and WI, but not OR). I saw it in all of those states (in AZ, the Flagstaff area). It's a slow plant, a conservative plant, and old-growth plant. 1/

As someone in the United States I find myself asking myself the same question. I guess whether democracy polls well depends on how you ask the question but I wish I had more definitive answers about whether to run on democracy or run on the other issues.

This post has given me a lot of insight into what goes on in the winter when it is too dark and cold to play cricket.
