What did I do today?
1. Spent a lot of time internally singing 'find my purpose' from Avenue Q
2.Realised I need to provide myself with dedicated time and mental space to develop (not just e-learning!!)

Thanks @danlyus.bsky.social for a super, thought provoking, session #developingleaders

@healthinnowest.bsky.social shares 'shout outs' in our internal newsletter -these can be submitted by anyone. Imagine my surprise & joy at seeing this today. This isn't something big/elaborate, but it makes me feel valued & demonstrating value through (small) gestures improves team cultureπŸ’œ

The 2024 MBRRACE-UK report stated that 1 in 4 women/pregnant people that died from VTE did so in the first trimester.
With self-referrals now in place for most women and birthing people, how do we ensure that those at high risk of VTE are appropriately assessed & treated prior to midwife booking?
