Feeling like I did such a good job on vacation with disconnecting from the world at large and really being present. Now that I’m back in the real world though … I feel overwhelmed, distracted, burdened, and lacking all that resilience I tried to build back up while I was away.

My favorite part has been watching all the stuff I read on AO3 growing up now being mainstream and on library shelves. Minotaurs? Bigfoot? Bring it on! It’s not my vibe but it’s someone’s so shout out to all these authors getting to write what they want and not have to hide their flavor of weird.

Ngl - I used Astepro and saline sprays this last go round with Covid and it helped. It didn’t work miracles but it definitely shortened the congestion. Especially with trying to get some zzzzzz’s at night.
