We need to be investing in clean energy to protect and to increase the efficiency of our Southern and Midwestern agriculture producers.

The construction of these data centers not only harm the lives of residents, they also harm the farms. Clean air and water mitigations must be taken by these multi-billion dollar corporations along with coverage for the cost of increasing power demand. Local government must also face consequence.

Residents report a decrease in water and air quality with an increase in electrical bills. AI should not be developed at the expense of millions. Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Meta and collaborators should face a class action/mass tort lawsuit for this level of willful negligence.

It is absolutely unacceptable that these massive AI-focused data centers are being built primarily in the South & Midwest, underserved areas in which many already feel unrepresented by their government, without permission of the people.

The same can also be said for brown children. All of this, in combination with ICE's arrests, the demonization of DEI, and the overt propaganda positioning minorities as the enemy, is extremely concerning. If anything, minorities are the greatest victims.

This is an opportunity to manufacture consent. The policing will ultimately lead to cases of police brutality and incarceration. If incarcerated, these children will be seen as untrustworthy when looking for work in the future. Many bright black futures will be stunted as a result of these cuts.

Without them, teenage boys may be pushed into gang violence, or teenage girls into prostitution, to provide for their families. There will be a rise in crime in black communities, allowing the National Guard to be deployed to police more black communities.

The pause of SNAP benefits and the upcoming price hike of healthcare premiums will negatively impact the future of black children. Poverty incites crime. Many black and brown families, some with disabled parents, rely on SNAP and low-cost health insurance.
