04.08.2025 04:26 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Thereโs not a thing they can do to you. Iโm not sure that statute of limitations applies, but if it does, it runs out and theyโre stuck.. which they deserve. Stick it to them. They can not deny any other service based on you ignoring it and not paying it. ๐
04.08.2025 04:25 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I think this falls under the No Surprise Act. Whatever you do, do not pay them a dime if youโre on Medicaid or a combo of Medicaid/Medicare. Iโd fight it to a certain point but after the level of tolerance hits its peak, just ignore it and any call or correspondence.

04.08.2025 04:04 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0The opinion by Paxton explicitly takes no position on whether breaking quorum is unconstitutional because, as Paxton said, it was tied up in litigation at the time www.texasattorneygeneral.gov/sites/defaul...
04.08.2025 03:20 โ ๐ 337 ๐ 56 ๐ฌ 8 ๐ 1NOTABLY the Paxton opinion that Abbott cites doesnโt actually say lawmakers who break quorum are removable โ in fact it says this is a fact-specific question only resolvable by a court.
The opinion also does not say itโs unconstitutional to break quorum.
