I think this falls under the No Surprise Act. Whatever you do, do not pay them a dime if you’re on Medicaid or a combo of Medicaid/Medicare. I’d fight it to a certain point but after the level of tolerance hits its peak, just ignore it and any call or correspondence.

NOTABLY the Paxton opinion that Abbott cites doesn’t actually say lawmakers who break quorum are removable — in fact it says this is a fact-specific question only resolvable by a court.

The opinion also does not say it’s unconstitutional to break quorum.

That, I did not know, was hyper focused on all the raves about Insta Pot eggs. That’s great to know.

They were gathering places. Prior we did community bulk buying and rotated houses to divide up the spoils. People involved in everything from spinning wool, weaving, painting . It was wonderful for the little ones. Lots of love in those spaces.

There was an artist and ver loving community around food. Little cafes. We had one in the Berkshires, our children were raised around them. There’s a lentil loaf I can make blindfolded. Everyone was involved in the working food co-ops. Selling their arts. We need a comeback of that kind of community

Philly in the 80s was a hip food mecca. The streets, food trucks of all kinds. An old friend had a “Jewish- Rasta-Vegetarian/Vegan” , a smash hit, that eventually turned into a big business. Those were the days.

Yes and the ever hailed Chicken Marbella, with olives and prunes. My daughter, a personal chef/nutritionist she makes a version, to this day, using dried apricots. There’s a microwaved , but one can easily stove top it, dried bing cherry chutney with a real kick of chili flakes. Delicious.
