21.02.2026 00:35 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0The membrane they have is good enough to filter out EVERYTHING, so gravity well drainage is probably gonna make filtering really slow. With a family of 4, I'm wondering if that'll work for us.
21.02.2026 00:20 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Lifestraw's filter tech is legit, so it is probably the best on the market. But I've tried 4 different at-home pitcher companies, and there's usually the same issue:
Drainage speed varied wildly depending on (1) how much sediment is in the water (a lot in my area), and (2) the filter's construction
I gotta look at some reviews. The problem usually with at-home filters is that sediment can clog filters up and slow the dispense rate. With the actual lifestraw, humans are providing the force to pull the water through the membrane, so it makes sense. With just gravity filtration, I wonder...๐ค
