Scottish Fishermen's Federation says EU deal is 'disastrous' A new deal extending access for EU boats in UK waters has been agreed as part of a wider softening of relations with the bloc.

Scotland was taken out of the EU against our will. Now not only have we lost the benefits of EU membership, the one sector they said would benefit from Brexit has been betrayed. Scotland’s priorities are never Westminster’s. Industry says deal is “absolutely disastrous”

So sorry to hear about the passing of our much loved & long standing MSP & Ministerial colleague Christina McKelvie. A big presence who championed so many good causes including Scotland’s cause. So difficult to imagine her not being around. Deepest condolences to Keith & family.

#InternationalWomensDay is a good time to remind ourselves that the origins of the word “scientist” can be traced back to famous Scots scientist Mary Somerville - Scotland is globally famous for science & innovation. And we even inspired the first use of the word “scientist” 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

We have exceeded our pledge to deliver 64,000 NHS surgeries and procedures by the end of March 2025.

By the end of January, with two months to go, we’ve already delivered over 75,500.

And with the record NHS funding in our Budget, @thesnp.bsky.social will keep reducing waiting times.
