Trump just announced E.J. Antoni, a Project 2025 contributor from the Heritage Foundation, as the new head of the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Steve Bannon has been pushing for Trump to pick Antoni ever since Trump fired the former BLS commissioner in response to a report showing a slowing economy.

The new head of US labor statistics recorded a podcast promoting Project 2025.

...Voters really, really care about controlling immigration and crime. They just do. And if voters don’t think Democrats will take those issues seriously, they elect a garbage human like Trump who will seize the opportunity to expand his own power.

Trump’s federal takeover of DC is unwarranted and a massive federal overreach that actual conservatives should oppose. It’s also practice for more federal takeovers of blue cities and meant to distract from Epstein.

So much of American conservative culture (esp. amongst middle class white people) involves finding that "one secret trick" that will bring you either wealth, health, personal safety, or a combination of all of the above.
