This is my favourite story I had out last year. Not only is it longlisted alongside a great (and also longlisted) collection but it's now available for 99p!

For short fiction word counts, trying to justify commas between words that arguably don't need commas is becoming an art form for me 😂

I don't know how you commit to a monthly flash.

A non-fiction piece about my feelings regarding apologies in fiction and why it's so hard to give them true emotional impact.

I'm so happy to get to share a free to read version of this.

I love this story, I get dark with it, it explores troublesome father-son dynamics and it's inspired by the real life Ghost Merchants shop in York.

I really need to go write that sequel.

It's smaller than world fantasy so it's easier to find people you want to see which is nice. I always have a great time.
It's a great atmosphere.
