Where is McKinney?

The people watching was top tier ;) and there was soooooo much love in that hall last night. One of my favorite big room
shows in 30+ years in ATX, right up there w Leonard Cohen’s farewell tour 3 hour show at the LC and Ornette Coleman at the Paramount.

Last night! I posted a few pics earlier. Absolutely top tier show. Sooooo delightful. Seriously a tonic. And pretty damn inspiring in terms of cool staging.

Accidentally discovered my new favorite cheap sears at Bass Hall - upper balcony either far side front 2 rows. Damn near a box seat, amazing view of stage although the SL/SR scrims are obscured.

Man, David Byrne was so good, and the show was so awesome and clever. Everything it about it, really. It was a very expensive ticket and it was worth it. If you can swing it, it’s a don’t-miss deal.

So what's the plan?

I have one job and that is to jank together a shrimp costume that will stay on in a mosh pit. I’m thinking strapped on light up shrimp head dress thing and mayyyybe a layered shrimp lookin’ top for the costume part coupled w clk standard pit wear on the bottom.
