14.02.2026 20:44 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0The Guardian supported Lib Dems in 2010.
And what happened when they got a hold of the Treasury in bed with the Tories?
They imposed austerity and decimated public services.
They think the public have forgotten this.

14.02.2026 19:10 โ ๐ 77 ๐ 18 ๐ฌ 2 ๐ 0The main argument against rejoining the EU is that it would "embolden Farage".
Bullshit. It would expose Farage.
It would force him to oppose the majority of voters, remind them that his last "Great Crusader" left us poor and powerless, and force him to admit he wants us to remain that way.
Achieving absolutely nothing, which is probably the case for every element of their existence. Pathetic demented idiots.

The world order is changing and Europe must respond.
Excellent. I wish my boys liked treats, but still nope from them.

13.02.2026 20:43 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0This should be headline news in the UK for several weeks, if not longer...until we know exactly WHO in the UK was involved in this and we see them brought to account!
No one should bring down a UK government unless they are part of the UK parliament.
No one in the media.
No one from abroad!
So, I wrote a Substack. I haven't done so for monetary gain, just as a way to share my thoughts in more detail. I'd appreciate any feedback, as this is my first attempt at a thinkpiece.

Well done Hannah. Very well thought out. Probably quite cathartic to write too, after this week.

09.02.2026 21:42 โ ๐ 22 ๐ 6 ๐ฌ 4 ๐ 0A couple of excerpts of Starmerโs speech to the PLP today (1/2):
โAfter having fought so hard for the chance to change our country, Iโm not prepared to walk away from my mandate and my responsibility to my country, or to plunge us into chaos as others have done.โ
To the naysayers and those who underestimate Keir Starmer time and time again. You were wrong before and youโre wrong this time too.

09.02.2026 18:08 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Labour Governments arenโt about self-service, theyโre about public service โ and this PM embodies public service.
Thats why heโs got a 5-year mandate and my full support. Letโs get on with the job.
The country is rightly impatient for change and for government that serves their interests above all else.
Our job is simple: stay focused, get on with the hard work of delivering instead of looking inwardly at ourselves and remember the people who we serve.
Thank you Michael
09.02.2026 18:06 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Itโs treacherous and Iโm ragingโฆagain. Our CLP secretary is such a lovely man and has given his life to the party, so his response got me thinking. Will probably stay a member, but not support in any way in the upcoming Holyrood elections, as I do still support our Westminster MP.
09.02.2026 17:55 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Last week, we voted to lift 450,000 children out of poverty and selected 500 schools to get free breakfast clubs.
That's the change we should be focused on, that's the change voters want, and it's only possible because Keir Starmer secured a five year mandate.
He must see it through.
I heard @mrjamesob.bsky.social say it is likely Keir Starmer will have to go because of "critical mass"
Whilst also admitting that Johnson should have gone over the wallpaper, the parties, the Russian connections, Owen Paterson, the covid violations, lying to Parliament, lying to the Queen.

Iโm so disappointed in the leader here in Scotland basically undermining the Prime Minister. Itโs not a good look at all.
