I am very blessed as I am 69 and my Mum will be 88 this month. She is in the grip of Alzheimer’s but remains very sociable even though getting my name is troublesome to her. But we have jolly times together still.

Thornberry is always good, but on this morning's media round she has been exceptional.

If there's one thing you watch today, make it this

Bob Geldof criticises Israel for what they're doing in Gaza

Then criticises Trevor Philips for making excuses for what Israel is doing in Gaza

Part 1/3

If you want to know why you hear nothing about Labour achievements please ask the MSM why you don’t see any reporting on where you get your news.
Government website is full of achievements so look there.
Media is briefed but never report to you.
That’s not a Labour problem that’s a media problem.

Just finished this and will now listen to The Beatles with fresh ears. Also confirms that they wrote β€˜Get Back’ as a refutation of Enoch Powell, while Mick Jagger, Eric Clapton and Rod Stewart agreed with him

Para 93 of the link.

In the recent interim judgment on the proscription order, the judge helpfully summarised the govt’s position.

It is not obviously stupid to call this terrorist.

This reads very dishonestly. Almost as if you have been told to find Labour guilty somehow and stick with it despite the reality of them fixing the disgraceful Tory actions and omissions.

Is there any reason why you don’t name which government it was Lewis? It was the previous Conservative government’s decision and choice to do this. The Labour govt has resolved it.

@mrjamesob.bsky.social reminds listeners of the 'calibre of human beings' that were in charge at the time of the Β£7 billion government cover-up.

The data breach occurred under Boris Johnson. The superinjunction was put in place under Rishi Sunak, who then kept it in place via the Court of Appeal in 2024. Labour ordered a review then lifted the injunction.
Conclusion: it's all Labour’s fault.
