Do you have the one-off BBC1 show β€œWho Did You Do?” from Christmas 2003 which focused on impressions as well?

Do you think they’ll be bought out before the year is out?

Precisely. It’s history repeating itself after the UTV Ireland mistake. A pity it wasn’t done in time for The Franchise Affair really!

I really wish ITV plc would just buy them out at this point. It’s just more tortuous the longer it goes on.

Please help! Does anyone know which photographer took any of these TV Times Christmas cover photos (1963, 1967, 1971, 1973)? The issues themselves don’t say and I’ve tried asking everywhere to no avail (the last two were probably higher end freelancers)!

A finger of Fugde.

Yes, that’s the one part of 1997’s branding which was a mistake. Should’ve all been justified left, much easier to read.

I think the editor, Chris Bellinger, had been on Saturday morning kids shows all the way back to Swap Shop!

Brilliant as always. Can't wait for the concluding part.

I do wonder if Clive Whiley will do the inevitable and turn to ITV plc.

Also, would I be able to DM someone at Transdifusion about a TV Times project I’m working on please? It's similar to this on the Radio Times, i.e. requiring a lot of TV Times covers (and pre-1968 alternative magazine covers too): www.youtube.com/watch?v=ILcz...

It can be, but like most citie, it’s far too expensive and crowded for me.

All those fonts and they still couldn't spell her surname right.

Yep. If you've got nothing to broadcast, don't broadcast anything.

I’d merge BBC3 and BBC4 back into BBC2 as well. Basically, I’d go back in time by about 30 years.

Does anyone have all the episodes of UKTV Gold’s 2008 series β€œWhen Were We Funniest”? I’ve looked everywhere and asked everyone connected to the production I can find without success!

Didnβ€˜t this issue have a really annoying fold over promotion that covered half of Santa’s face?

And Arrested Development (seasons 1 to 3).

Of course then everything like this ends up becoming a risk financially. I don’t mind a mixture of both single and multi-camera, but not one over the other just because it’s cheaper. But alas, that’s the reality of executives, something creatives don’t have a say in.

20.09.2025 22:47 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Which, audience or single camera? Not that it matters that much; comedy is seen as too expensive in general.

20.09.2025 22:30 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Is it actually seen as out of fashion still? I mean really? I would love more audience sitcoms, but the single camera no laughter option always seems the go to these days.

I feel like one or both should just move to the Green Party. Would make more sense than splitting things further.
