Precisely. It’s history repeating itself after the UTV Ireland mistake. A pity it wasn’t done in time for The Franchise Affair really!

I really wish ITV plc would just buy them out at this point. It’s just more tortuous the longer it goes on.

Please help! Does anyone know which photographer took any of these TV Times Christmas cover photos (1963, 1967, 1971, 1973)? The issues themselves don’t say and I’ve tried asking everywhere to no avail (the last two were probably higher end freelancers)!

Yes, that’s the one part of 1997’s branding which was a mistake. Should’ve all been justified left, much easier to read.

I think the editor, Chris Bellinger, had been on Saturday morning kids shows all the way back to Swap Shop!

Of course then everything like this ends up becoming a risk financially. I don’t mind a mixture of both single and multi-camera, but not one over the other just because it’s cheaper. But alas, that’s the reality of executives, something creatives don’t have a say in.

Which, audience or single camera? Not that it matters that much; comedy is seen as too expensive in general.

Is it actually seen as out of fashion still? I mean really? I would love more audience sitcoms, but the single camera no laughter option always seems the go to these days.
