Foxkids Closing/Sky 2
The videos online of it definitely prove that it broadcasted in the evenings only(it shared a transponder with Fox Kids, which then began timesharing with National Geographic channel after the original Sky2 ended), so you're not wrong

We got the channel in July '04 during it's last months with that branding so I'm slightly familiar with it (it would've been renamed to Sky Mix from September that year, and Sky Two in late 05). The brief 90s version of the channel (and tombstone era of Sky) I didn't know of until years later though

To be honest, my first thought when seeing that being listed there was that it surely couldn't be as good or extravagant as this one for Sky One Mix from 23 years ago

Watch On Safari | Stream Free on STV Player
Four intrepid explorers take on some scary animal challenges.
Even more so that the STV version is still available on their streaming site (and I'm fairly sure was all on YouTube at one point when they had a channel alongside other STV made shows before it was all removed)

Slightly amazing and weird in hindsight thinking about it now, that the 2000 STV iteration of On Safari is *just* as old now as the original TVS version here was 7 years after the STV version was first shown

Something I only realised when watching the video back earlier is that the advert for NTL mentions the ITV Sport Channel (and ITV Sport Select) as one of the new sport channels available... this was recorded nearly 4 weeks after it ceased broadcasting

How we made a Comedy Series for the BBC using Virtual Production
Partly because amongst other reasons, it's a *damn* excellent example of how to utilise virtual production for creating shows (not just comedy) during times where physical production isn't feasible; the video of how it was made with the technique is definitely worth a watch

Yeah it was popular for a while in its earlier years (hence why it got it's own BBC3 show), then the novelty died out shortly afterwards, though that didn't stop the original game itself from still being on the BBC website until early 2010. Not that anyone cared by then anyway

Unpopular opinion/hot take: Celebdaq was probably the blandest show on their original lineup of programmes. Even during the time the show and the original game itself were around, I always felt that it wasn't really worth bothering with

JANET:

JANET:

LIZ [Now a voiceover as we cut to a whizzy technology diagram of peas all connected by meaningless dotted lines]
Why not take your peas to the next level with Al Peas' new Al tools to power your peas?

LIZ:

LIZ:
Our game-changing Pea-Al gives you the freedom to unlock the potential of the power of the future of your peas workflow

to eating the peas
To spending millions on adding Al to the peas and then having to work out what that even means.
