I'm 100% glad I ditched it 11 years ago - and never looked back.

Ah, good to hear! Just been looking into it some more. It does sound perfect for me. It'll be added to my already long - so so gloriously long! - list of SF/Fantasy titles I want to pack in this year! Not read any JA, so I am very intrigued.

To be fair, I'm excited for all these. I just need more hours in the day to get through them all before I'm, like, 100!

I'm currently on The Way of Kings, and have The Name of the Wind, Children of Time, The Raven Tower and Revelation Space all lined up over 2025.
