hourly comics day comic done in a sketchbook in graphite, in a cartoony furry style 1st vertical strip: 8:00 am, stylized depiction of waking up, figures of my girlfriends moving around a dim room 2nd strip: 9:00 am I have issues with my neck and back and hunching over to do hourly comics isn't helping 3rd strip: 10:00 am, Juniper (butterfly) returns with pastries, Sarah (goat) tries to wake up, and Zoe (porcupine angel) contemplates hentai. room is depicted in jumbled flat perspective. 4th panel group in bottom right: Juniper seduces me in order to get drawn in my hourlies. it works.
did basically all of these except the upcoming page 4 on the day of, but was too busy drawing and experiencing the events of the comics to do the whole "social media self promotion" part lol

Sarah remarks that the huge number of ai assistant ads in the superbowl aren't *made with ai* themselves next two strips are a regular 2x4 panel grid riffing on the "draw the rest of the fucking owl" image meme, which starts as two circles. in some panels various silhouetted friends try to explain football to me, Lady Gaga shows up uncannily, there's food, a 9/0 score, and finally a drawing of a superb owl, labeled "draw the rest of the fucking owl", with "fucking" overlaid with semitransparent sticky tape reading "superb" final strip 7:00 some musing on the Woke side winning sports in the great national divorce

hourly comics on sketchbook paper with graphite and marker top strip jumps ahead to 11:00. the gang watches Megalopolis for some reason. middle section is a two strip comic about rowdy seahawks fans after the superbowl reacting to losing one of their party by accident and calling for the bus to be turned around for them final section is a small strip expressing my exhaustion, inset into a big splash panel of me, Juniper, and Sarah out observing the party downtown. we're in the foreground and in the background many fans have scaled the architecture in pioneer square
I ran out of steam early on this page--the complexity level of pages 3 and 4 kinda got to be too much lol. drew about half the middle section while watching Megalopolis, finished the rest yesterday.
